The De Buyer Swing Plus Mandolie is a professional food slicer with a double blade, and micro-serrated blade which cuts into the food at different points. This reduces the impact and effort required when cutting both hard and soft foods.
The blade keeps the cut corrugated on one side, for cutting potatoes or vegetables in a wavy or lattice shape. On the other side you can slice and shred thanks to the micro-serrated cutting edge. The shreds can be 2, 4, 7 or 10 mm wide and the cutting height can be adjusted from 0.5 mm to 10 mm in 0.5 mm intervals.
The Swing Plus food slicer is much more than a fruit and vegetable slicer. You can make all kinds of cuts with it:
- Smooth cuts: is a precise food cutter, perfect as a chip cutter or smooth slicer even with tomatoes and citrus fruits.
- Wavy cuts: you can give a different touch to your food.
- Julienne cuts: you can cut potatoes into strips, for deluxe French fries, or for carrot or courgette crudités, combining their 4 different thicknesses.
- Grid cuts: cuts potatoes or any vegetable in the shape of a grid, thanks to its pusher with rotating system.
It’s a stainless steel and polymer composite slicer and very safe, thanks to its non-slip folding legs and its ergonomic protector that allows you to easily and accurately slice away.
