The Zwilling Stainless Steel Smoker will open up a world of flavours for you. You won't be able to stop smoking all kinds of food, from fish to vegetables and, of course, all kinds of meat. It is also a very versatile piece, as you can use it for steaming, as well as using it without the rack as a roasting pan in the oven or as a casserole on the stove.

Read on to discover all its possibilities and how to use it.

*** Smoking chips are not included in the product. They can be purchased here: Zwilling beech wood smoking chips.

What the smoker consists of

The Zwilling smoker from the Twin Specials range consists of a casserole or container.a grate inside for the food, a lid and a chamber with holes that is placed at the bottom over the wood chips that generate the smoke.

The hot smoking of fish and meat is an ancient technique that with the Zwilling home smoker we can practice at home with great comfort. Imagine a good smoked meat or a delicious smoked salmon in your own kitchen. Tempting, isn't it?

The home smoker is suitable for both hot smoking (the food is cooked at the same time as it is smoked) and for smoking food that has already been cooked.

How to cook with the Zwilling Stainless Steel Smoker

  • Start by heating the base of the smoker. Turn the heat to maximum and in a few minutes it will be hot enough for you to start cooking. You can check if it has reached sufficient temperature by splashing a few drops of water. If balls form and move around, it's ready!
  • The next step is to place on the base of the smoker the element that will give a special touch to whatever you are going to cook: the shavings.
  • Then place the perforated plate on top of the shavings, so that the smoke reaches the food, and on top of the plate, place the grid.
  • Once the grate is in place, all you have to do is place the food you are going to cook on top of it and cover it with the smoker lid.
  • When it's done, all that's left is to uncover and savour the result: a mouthful with a wonderful aroma and an impressive flavour that you're going to love!
