With the De Buyer Affinity Classique stainless steel frying pan you can put on the hat of professional chef. And for good reason: it is one of the highest-end pans on the market, and its qualities will let you enjoy fabulous control over how your recipes turn out. In addition, you can be sure that no non-stick coatings or added chemicals enter your kitchen.
Unlike other stainless steel frying pans, the De Buyer Affinity series consists of 5 layers of stainless steel and aluminum in both the base and the walls of the pan. Thanks to this, you not only get a magnificent heat distribution across the entire surface (not just the base, but also the sides, which saves you time and gives you a much better result), but also, those 5 layers of steel and its density also give you top-notch temperature control: you will see how the cooking responds quickly the moment you raise or lower the burner power (when you lower the heat, the pan quickly responds by reducing the temperature across its entire surface, and equally when you increase the temperature.
Thus, the Affinity series absorbs and distributes heat magnificently thanks to its multilayer technology, which results in even and efficient cooking.
The Affinity frying pan, Classique model has a traditional and beautifully designed look, highlighted by its cast stainless steel handle with an elegant French-style curve and heat stop, so you can cook with it safely and comfortably.
It is suitable for all types of cooktops, including induction, and it is also oven-safe.
It is the classic Affinity frying pan and is characterized by:
Note: To cook with the Affinity frying pan, you should heat it gradually (always with a little oil), it should not go above 3/4 of your cooktop's power, and if you use it for a long time continuously, you should lower the temperature, since it transfers a lot of heat and, in this way, you will save energy.
