Uses for your WMF Profi Plus Ladle

Although primarily designed for soups and broths, a ladle is a versatile tool. Look at all the ways you can use it!

• Serve stews and casseroles: Perfect for serving stews with plenty of liquid, like lentils, fabada, or meat stew.
• If you need a generous amount of sauce for a dish, the ladle is ideal for pouring it quickly.
• Fill large molds: Useful for pouring liquid batters (like for cakes or flans) into large molds.
• For preparing and serving cocktails or punches: If you have a large jug or punch bowl, a ladle is ideal for serving drinks into glasses.
• Drain large foods: Although not a strainer, you can use it to remove foods like boiled eggs, cooked vegetables, or ravioli (and you can always tilt it against the inside wall of the pot to remove most of the liquid).
• Pour hot oil: If you need to add small amounts of hot oil to a recipe, the ladle will help you do it safely.
• Remove foam: Use it to remove foam or impurities that form in broths or when boiling meats and fish.
• Fill jars and bottles: Makes filling jars with soups, purées, or homemade preserves clean and easy.
