The Fido Bormioli Rocco Clip-Top Airtight Jar is a true must-have for your pantry. Whether you're looking to store and organise dry goods or you're a home cook wanting to make your own preserves, this jar is an essential addition to any home.
Each jar has its own charm. With its iconic design – a wide glass body and vintage-style clip closure, made with 100% Italian craftsmanship – it's perfect for any kitchen and decor. Made of glass, it's ideal for storing fresh and dry food: pasta, rice, nuts, oats, flour, olives, leftover fruit in syrup... And of course, for homemade preserves and fermented foods!
The clip system ensures an airtight seal, keeping food fresh. These jars are not only airtight, but also suitable for vacuum preservation through pasteurisation and for water-bath canning. Note: not suitable for oven use.
Thanks to their cylindrical shape, they're also great for freezing broths, sauces, purées or cooked legumes.
NOTE: Looking for labelled jars? Check out our Fido Lavagna jars. Or need taller jars for spaghetti? Have a look at the tall Fido jars.

The story of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (over 100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glass, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first domestic jar suitable for pasteurization, a kitchen essential worldwide (a name that today is as popular in Italy as lollipops are among kids).
Meanwhile, in 1946, in the same historic Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glass by combining Italian artisanal tradition with the most advanced technology to offer pieces of exceptional design. In 2017, both brands united their legacy under Luigi Bormioli, establishing themselves as a global reference in glassware, exporting to more than 100 countries and keeping alive their commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
