The Rousselon Dumas Sabatier folding knife embodies a history of tradition and mastery in knife making. This venerable brand based in Thiers since 1852 has distinguished itself by the excellence of its designs. Inspired by the voyage of Paul Rousselon, an ancestor of today's artisans, who took with him the legendary 'Dumas Aîné' during his expedition to the island of La Réunion in 1908 (you can see the story in the accompanying photo), this knife, affectionately nicknamed by the sugarcane harvesters as 'Le P'tit 32' , represents a perfect combination of heritage and functionality.

The bubinga wood handle offers an exceptionally comfortable grip, allowing a firm and secure hold during use. Its stainless steel blade is distinguished by its exceptional sharpness and durability. In addition, it has a solid gold-plated brass ferrule and a piston locking system that guarantees safe and easy handling.

Technical Features:

  • Blade length: 8.1 cm
  • Handle length: 10.5 cm
  • Total length: 18.6 cm
  • Blade Material: Stainless Steel
  • Handle Material: Bubinga Wood. Bubinga wood is known for its hardness, stability, and beautiful grain, making it an attractive choice for knife handles and other tools. It is quite durable and can withstand daily wear and tear well, while also offering an elegant aesthetic appearance.
  • Ferrule: Solid Brass
  • Closing System: Piston
  • Presentation: It comes in a small cardboard box and includes a printed sheet with the history of the knife on the island of Reunion (in French).

More than just a tool, this knife is a representation of craftsmanship and tradition, perfect for everyday use in the kitchen or for outdoor activities. An exceptional gift that fuses elegance and functionality for those who appreciate quality craftsmanship and precision in an everyday tool.
