The Perfect Plus pressure cooker from WMF comes in a 6.5 L + 3 L set, a very practical combination for cooking all kinds of dishes in record time, perfect for everyday use. You can use either pot according to the recipe and quantity you're cooking or use them independently.
The set includes:
- WMF Perfect Plus 6.5-litre pot which serves 5-6 people.
- WMF Perfect Plus 3-litre pot which serves 2-3 people.
- One lid for both pots.
Features of the Perfect Plus Pressure Cooker
This pot, which is the latest model launched in 2023 by WMF, has the following features:
- The new lid features technology applied to the handle and a somewhat more modern design with more intuitive pictograms. The symbols on the handle indicating the opening, closing, and steam release of the pot are much clearer and understandable.
- Improved anchoring system of the handle on the lid. The fastening system inside the handle is very effective and easy to engage.
- Incorporation of a residual pressure indicator valve. It is a small pin or button located on the pressure indicator. With the pot closed and the heat on, it is the first thing that will rise when cooking, before the pressure rings. It indicates that the pot begins to build pressure, and the lid is completely locked. When turning off the heat, it will be the last to lower and will be visible until the pot is completely depressurized.
- The cooking indicator has two levels plus the residual pressure. The two pressure cooking levels, now with more visible rings, are:
- Up to 110 °C (first orange ring), for tender vegetables, fish, and poultry.
- Up to 119 °C (second orange ring), for hard food and meat.
- As soon as the cooking indicator reaches the desired ring, the heat is lowered and the cooking time begins to count down.
- Once the cooking time has elapsed, the pot can only be opened when there is no more pressure inside, at which point the residual pressure indicator valve ceases to be visible.
- The pressure cooker is equipped with several safety systems such as the residual pressure safety device.
- The Perfect pots incorporate the safety valve from the high-end Premium series, the Perfect Premium.
- Set with two pots of different capacities for the same lid:
- 6.5 L + 3 L.
- All WMF pressure cookers are made of Cromargan 18/10 stainless steel, a type of alloy patented by WMF, which makes them more robust, scratch-resistant, and easy to care for.
- With TransTherm® base suitable for all types of stoves, including induction stoves.
- Ease of use thanks to the multifunctional handle, which can also be disassembled for easier cleaning.
- Inner marking of the filling level of the pressure cooker for easy dosing.

NOTES:
- The Perfect Plus pressure cooker has the same mechanism and operation as the Perfect pressure cooker, but with a more modern look. Its handle has a modern and ergonomic design with a rounder shape than the Perfect model. In other words, it incorporates all the functions of the Perfect cooker with a more modern and contemporary aesthetic.
- If you want to steam cook in your pressure cooker, you can definitely do it! You will need the cooker perforated insert for steam cooking that you can see here.
- If you want to add even more versatility to your Perfect cooker, you might be interested to know that this WMF model has a diameter of 22cm. That’s why the WMF glass lid, which is designed to fit perfectly, is the perfect choice! If you opt for the glass lid you will have 2 pots in 1: a pressure cooker when you use the valve lid, and a pot for traditional cooking when you use the glass lid, minimising the space you occupy in your kitchen.

The history of WMF
