The Le Creuset Evolution Low Oval Cocotte is a cast iron casserole dish that you can enjoy cooking any recipe with, with wonderful results. More French than the Louvre, Le Creuset casseroles and cocottes are coveted by all the world's cooks , and they guarantee years of pleasure in the kitchen and at the table.
Due to its lower height, the oval cocotte is an ideal casserole dish for cooking whole, somewhat shorter pieces of meat or fish, even the longest ones . It is also a fantastic option for cooking any recipe on the stove and gratinating it in the oven, or for baking your breads, cakes or pastries, both savoury and meat-based, or sweet, such as the traditional apple pie .
Due to its length and oval design , it is ideal for roasting in the oven or on the barbecue , whether it is a goat shoulder, a round of chicken or beef, or whole fish such as hake or sea bream. And with enough space for you to accompany it with the garnish of your choice!
The Evolution oval cocotte is the latest model from Le Creuset, and features the following improvements over previous models:
Model | Ability | Long | Broad | Height | Depth | Servings |
27 cm |
3.4 l | 35.2 cm | 22.6 cm | 13.5 cm | 8.1 cm | 4-6 |
