The new Cocotte Evolution is Le Creuset's latest model and includes the following improvements over previous models:
- Larger handles for easier and safer transport from oven to table, even with oven mitts.
- More resistant interior enamel to stains, wear, and scratches. Also easier to clean than traditional enamel.
- New lid design with better fit to retain moisture and flavor inside the cocotte.
- More ergonomic and comfortable knob for handling.
Note: The Ocean and Chiffon Pink variants, like other Le Creuset cocottes, are part of the new Evolution range but come with a factory-installed phenolic knob. This knob allows use up to 190 ºC. You can easily replace it with the stainless steel knob or the copper knob if desired.
