The special wooden rice spoon from Bérard has a short handle and a very wide bowl, allowing you to serve rice quickly and comfortably. It is made of olive wood, one of the most durable woods available, and has a delightful texture. The grain patterns in the wood are unique and always different, so no two spoons are alike; each one is unique, and all are beautiful.

Additionally, olive wood is ideal for kitchen use because it has antibacterial properties and is one of the most resistant woods to stains and odors. It requires no special care, although it is recommended to wash it by hand and let it dry in a vertical position. To keep the wood looking like new and prevent it from drying out excessively, it is advisable to occasionally apply vegetable oil or use Bérard’s special wood cream.

History of Bérard

Since 1892, Bérard has been crafting wooden utensils in Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, nestled between the French Alps and the Côte d’Azur. Their manufacturing process is environmentally friendly and respectful of forests.
