The De Buyer 28 cm cast iron chestnut roasting pan is designed so you can prepare perfect roasted chestnuts at home on your gas stove, ceramic hob, barbecue, or over an open fire, making the most of your fireplace. Plus, you can cook vegetables the same way, with excellent results!

A cast iron pan that lets you roast chestnuts just like your parents or grandparents did, with the same delicious flavor as back then. Its quick heating, heat retention, and perforated base allow for fast cooking and very tasty results.

Its handcrafted iron construction, without the use of chemicals, strange coatings, or heavy metals, makes it an essential piece in your kitchen.

NOTE: As it is made of blue mineral iron, it comes with a special factory treatment to protect it from rust, and unlike Mineral B pans, these chestnut pans do not require any seasoning. When you receive it at home, you can brush it or use a sponge and a little soap to remove any dust from the factory, dry it thoroughly, and it's ready to use!
