The De Buyer copper saucepan for caramel is the perfect pot for caramelizing sugar quickly, comfortably, and safely. Thanks to the excellent copper conductivity, you will achieve even cooking, preparing caramel or syrup in less time. Its stainless steel riveted handle stays cool for safe handling of the saucepan. And the pouring spouts on both sides make pouring easy and comfortable, regardless of which hand you use.

This copper saucepan is as elegant as it is practical, a pot perfect for making syrup, caramel, jam, or candied fruit, since thanks to its material and design it has the following advantages:

  • Copper is the best heat conductor. This metal provides excellent heat transmission. Additionally, it absorbs and distributes heat evenly, so the sugar heats uniformly.
  • This excellent heat conductivity means great energy savings. It is a highly efficient saucepan, as you won’t need to cook at high heat settings to reach high temperatures, and it will give you better control over caramelization.
  • For more efficient use, the saucepan should be heated gradually and never used at high heat (at most 3/4 of the stove’s maximum power). Thanks to the high temperature conductivity of copper (higher than iron or multilayer stainless steel), you won’t need higher power.
  • This makes it an ideal utensil for preparing caramel, due to the high temperatures sugar reaches.
  • Being copper, it is a saucepan with great durability. You will always have it in the kitchen, passing it down from generation to generation.
  • Its stainless steel cast riveted handle makes handling safe and comfortable, as it does not heat up.
  • The pouring spouts on both sides of the saucepan allow you to pour caramel easily, whether you use your left or right hand.

This copper saucepan is a piece that cannot be missing in your kitchen if you love baking. A pot with which you will save time and energy, since thanks to the high temperature conductivity of copper, you will achieve faster and more even cooking.

NOTE: The body of the saucepan is made entirely of copper, without any type of coating or lining of other materials. This guarantees the best possible heat conductivity, but it is only suitable for sugar preparations. It is not suitable for other types of cooking, as it may cause toxic reactions.
