How to Season Your Carbone Plus De Buyer Paella Pan

Before using your Carbone Plus paella pan for the first time, it is advisable to double season it as follows:

  1. Gently wash the pan with a soft sponge and a bit of soap, and dry it well.
  2. Place a generous amount of potato peels in the pan and cover them with water.
  3. Turn on the heat to medium power and let the water boil for about 15-20 minutes. This will provide the organic component that it lacks since it doesn't have a beeswax treatment.
  4. Carefully remove the potato skins and the water; clean the pan with water and dry it well.
  5. Put vegetable oil in the pan and heat it over medium heat until it is very hot, until it smokes, and leave it on the heat for about 5-10 minutes.
  6. When it's done, take the pan off the heat and remove the oil.
  7. Carefully, to avoid burning yourself, spread the remaining oil in the pan over the entire interior surface to prevent it from rusting.

Llevaba tiempo detrás de ella y al final la compré. Me ha gustado, aún tengo que cogerle el punto, pero se que la vamos a disfrutar. Le pongo dos pegas, una me resulta extraño que no lleve ninguna inscripción de la marca y la otra que la esperaba algo menos profunda para ser paellera

Potenciador de aromas y sabores

Cocinar en esta paella es una autentica experiencia sensorial. La he utilizado dos veces para arroz y fideuá. Cocinar en hierro es diferente que en otros materiales o metales. Necesitas curar la paella antes del primer uso, proceso sencillo, y controlar la temperatura, calentarla poco a poco y poner los alimentos cuando esté bien caliente. Potencia el aroma y por supuesto el sabor de los alimentos. Todo resulta mucho más sabroso, sofritos, pescados. Reparte el calor por igual en toda la paella, esto es genial para los arroces i fideos. El mantenimiento es sencillo, lavar como qualquier otra cazuela y secar bien!! Yo la pongo al fuego un par de minutos para asegurarme y le paso papel de cocina empapado con un poco de aceite. Una vez se ha enfriado la guardo. El mantenimiento es sencillo y te asegura que no se oxide.
