Pallarès Stainless Steel Pocket Knife with Olive Wood Handle

Commonly known as solsonesa or pallaresa, this pocketknife is a classic throughout much of Spain. I really think there are few shepherds or farmers who haven't used one of these knives at some point in their lives. I myself remember that both my father and my grandfather always carried them in their pockets, and I've even seen blades worn down to almost nothing from how many times they've been sharpened.

The blade length is 8.5 cm.

Being such a popular knife, its economical version with a plastic handle is very common in hardware stores and village markets, but we also want to highlight the beautiful knife handcrafted by Pallarès with an olive wood handle. I find it very practical that on this occasion the blade is stainless steel, since it allows us to use it both in the woods, in our garden, or even take it to the market to enjoy a piece of fruit or some cured meat without worrying about the blade rusting.

Not suitable for the dishwasher and it is advisable to condition the wooden handle to keep it in good condition, applying a few drops of oil with a kitchen paper towel.
