This churro maker is your perfect ally to make rounded or long churros and all kinds of homemade pastries, including biscuits! It features 8 interchangeable discs designed to make everything from rounded Madrid-style churros, classic churros, tea cakes, long , fritters and many other types of pasta.

Its operation is very simple: you just have to put the chosen disk, insert the pasta you have prepared into the body of the churrera and activate the lever.

In addition, the ILSA churrera includes a recipe book to prepare all kinds of baked goods including churros, fritters, tea cakes, anise biscuits, etc.

Apart from the benefits of the different discs, which allows you to use this pastry gun in a wide variety of recipes, the Ilsa Churro Maker allows you to bake sturdy and well-formed products: churro dough is a very thick dough, and unlike plastic churro makers, the Ilsa Churro Maker does not come apart during the process, as it is designed to withstand the pressure of expelling well-shaped dough.

It is made of stainless steel and aluminium, is 19cm long and has a 15.5cm lever. Our version is also new and improved! What makes it different? The main anodised aluminium tube is now thicker than ever ( it was 1.2 mm thick in the older model and now 1.5 mm thick). That extra thickness might not seem like much difference, but it provides a tangible feeling of robustness compared to the older model .

churrera ILSA

Hace unos meses se jubilaron los churreros de toda la vida y, aunque no tomamos churros más que una vez al mes o cada dos meses, fue una desilusión llegar y ver en la puerta una nota de agradecimiento y despedida. Y cuando quieres churros y ya no hay en el pueblo donde comprarlos quieres churros desesperadamente. Empecé a mirar churreras y diferentes recetas y, llena de dudas me decidí por esta. Sólo le veo una pega: salen un poco gordos para lo que estamos habituados pero funciona muy bien. Cuando llegó parecía que todo rozaba, así que, antes de usarla, la engrasé bien con aceite de máquina, le pasé un papel de cocina para quitar el exceso y como una seda. Y utilicé recetas de churrero, o sea, harina de fuerza, nada de todo uso y, en el caso de las porras nada de bicarbonato ni polvos de hornear, levadura de panadero y media horita de reposo mientras preparas el café y pones a calentar la supersartén profunda. Si tienes un buen churrero cerquita de casa, olvídate, tienes un tesoro. Si no, churrerita, un poco de cuidadín y cariño y salen unos churros/porras que no son tan preciosos como los profesionales pero están tan buenos como los comprados. Y de verdad que no exagero
