The Set includes a ceramic bowl, a bamboo whisk, a ceramic whisk stand, and a bamboo measuring spoon. This complete Set is the best invitation to get started with one of the oldest tea rituals.

The 4-piece matcha Set includes:

  • Matcha bowl or chawan. The glazed ceramic bowl has a capacity of 450 ml (approx.). Its design is wide and deep enough to whisk easily and retain heat. The pouring spout makes serving in the cup more convenient.
  • Bamboo whisk or chasen. Carved from a single piece, this traditional whisk made of natural bamboo has between 80 and 85 filaments or tines that help create a fine emulsion and silky foam in just a few strokes.
  • Whisk stand or kusenaoshi. The stand is made of glazed ceramic and helps maintain the shape of the whisk after use. It is perfect for letting it dry once washed, helping to extend its useful life.
  • Bamboo measuring spoon or chashaku. Made from natural bamboo, it is lightweight and precise. It is used to measure the right amount of matcha powder, respecting the traditional preparation.

The Set comes in a beautiful box, ideal for storing it when not in use and also for gifting.
