This rectangular ceramic mold from Emile Henry will help you make delicious sponge cakes, pound cakes, breads, and even all kinds of savory pies.
It is available in two sizes: 23.5cm long, perfect for making pound cakes as well as any sponge cake and pie you can imagine, and 31cm long, with which you can prepare sponge cakes and pies that everyone will want seconds of.
Emile Henry ceramic ensures perfect baking, as well as presenting you with beautiful pieces: when you have these molds in front of you, you will understand why Emile Henry is such a renowned brand in France.
Did you know...? It’s perfect for sponge cakes! Ceramic is an ideal material for achieving fluffy sponge cakes because it is a moist material that, unlike others, does not dry out the batter. Bake with Emile Henry ceramic and you will notice the difference.CLAUDIA'S NOTE ABOUT COLORS:
When heated, Emile Henry ceramic intensifies in color, becoming darker. Honestly, I never know if I like them better at room temperature or right out of the oven — the colors are so beautiful! The classic red becomes a deep garnet for a while, the blue intensifies into a very elegant ocean color... I think they want us to keep using them for baking! Why we like the Emile Henry rectangular ceramic mold
| Width | Height | 31 cm |
| 13 cm | 9 cm | 23.5 cm |
| 10.5 cm | 8 cm | 8 cm |

Sponge cakes, loaf cakes, sandwich loaves, plaited breads and savoury bakes such as a meat loaf or a scorpionfish terrine.
Grease the tin well with melted butter or release spray before adding the mixture.
Yes, in the oven, for example for a flan.
Because ceramic spreads the heat gently and gradually, right to the centre of the mixture, and doesn't dry it out like other materials. The same recipe comes out more tender and rises better.
Yes, it can go in the oven, the microwave and the dishwasher without its properties or colour changing. Its vitrified ceramic resists cuts.
The only thing ceramic doesn't like is sudden changes in temperature. When you take it out of the oven, set it on a rack, a wooden board or a tea towel rather than a cold surface such as the worktop, and don't put it straight from the freezer into a hot oven. It is also not for use directly on a flame or a hob.
