Made in Italy, the Bormioli Rocco glass containers with sealing ring are fully made of glass – both the jar and the lid – and feature a removable silicone gasket that ensures perfect sealing and preservation of the food you store in them.

Sustainable, recyclable, durable and highly hygienic, they also won’t deform and can even be used in the oven.

The Frigoverre containers are ideal for optimal food storage, whether fresh or cooked. And with their lovely presentation, you can place them directly on the table to serve your recipes, desserts, ice creams, salads or appetisers.

The lid design also allows for stackable storage, making them perfect for keeping sauces, pickles, leftovers or cooked vegetables in the fridge. And they have many more advantages:

  • They are made of tempered glass, giving them great resistance and maximum clarity.
  • Being 100% glass, they do not absorb or transfer odours or flavours.
  • The silicone gasket, which lines the lid, is designed to perfectly adhere to the glass, ensuring an airtight seal for optimal preservation.
  • The gasket is easy to insert and remove for thorough and effortless cleaning.
  • They are dishwasher safe. They will never warp, no matter how often you wash them. And they’ll keep their shine.
  • Both the lid and the container come with a 10-year limited warranty.
  • Stackable – the lid design allows for stacking, saving space in your fridge or cupboards.
  • Oven-safe without the silicone gasket, up to 220 °C.
  • Microwave-safe with lid open, up to 70 °C.
  • Freezer-safe up to -20 °C.
  • They are sustainable containers. Glass is 100% recyclable.

The history of Luigi Bormioli

The story of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (over 100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glass, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first domestic jar suitable for pasteurization, a kitchen essential worldwide (a name that today is as popular in Italy as lollipops are among kids).

Meanwhile, in 1946, in the same historic Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glass by combining Italian artisanal tradition with the most advanced technology to offer pieces of exceptional design. In 2017, both brands united their legacy under Luigi Bormioli, establishing themselves as a global reference in glassware, exporting to more than 100 countries and keeping alive their commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
