By WMF

Whether you are an expert or a complete amateur in the art of sharpening, the WMF ceramic disc sharpener is an essential tool to keep your knives always sharp.

Easy to use, even without being an expert in sharpening, its two ceramic discs will allow you to achieve a perfect edge on the blade of your cutting tools.

Its ergonomic design makes its use simple, safe, and practical. It features a wide support base made of Cromargan®18/10 stainless steel and a handle grip where the two sharpening slots:

  • are located. One slot with coarse-grain ceramic discs, for the first sharpening step: grinding. This removes any roughness the edge may have. It allows the knife to be passed both forward and backward.
  • The second slot with fine-grain ceramic discs, to finish polishing the edge, achieving a perfectly sharpened blade. It also allows the knife to be passed in both directions.

To sharpen your knives, hold it by the handle resting the stainless steel base on the table or countertop surface. With light pressure, pass the knives perpendicularly through the grinding slot and then through the fine sharpening discs slot.

Features:

  • Sharpener with two slots with ceramic discs:
    • Sharpening slot with coarse-grain discs for grinding.
    • Sharpening slot with fine-grain discs for final polishing.
  • Can be used in both directions: forward and backward.
  • Made of Cromargan®18/10 stainless steel and synthetic handle.
  • Ergonomic grip handle design.
  • Wide support base with non-slip points.
  • Simple and safe to use.
  • Dimensions: 25 cm x 9 cm x 6.8 cm.
  • Weight: 310 g.
  • Suitable for straight-edged knives. Not suitable for serrated or wavy blades.
