Laura Ashley
In the mid-1950s, Laura was inspired by an exhibition of traditional textiles at the Victoria and Albert Museum in London to create handmade fabrics and clothes at home. Within a few years, she opened her first shop and the name Laura Ashley became synonymous with quintessentially traditional English design.
