You won’t be able to stop making pasta at home! With the classic and best-known pasta machine for home use, the Imperia machine, made in Italy from stainless steel, you can roll and cut dough to make fresh homemade pasta in the most practical way and with the best results. There’s a reason it’s the machine every Italian has at home!

Making pasta is really easy: all you have to do is prepare the dough with flour and egg and mix it until you have a smooth dough in just a few seconds, then put it into the machine. The machine lets you make a first pass with the sheets you’ve prepared to flatten them to the thickness you want. At this point, you can already make lasagna and cannelloni sheets (150mm thick), or you can make a second pass to cut the pasta and get fettucine (6,5mm wide) and tallarines (2mm wide).

How does it work? The Imperia machine is made of stainless steel with a wooden handle, and has smooth rollers, which are responsible for rolling out the sheets, and a cutting attachment. The opening of the smooth rollers gives you access to 9 different settings (from 0,3 mm to 2,5 mm). It includes a clamp to secure the machine to the table, so you can work with total safety.

Besides fresh pasta, since the machine lets you roll out dough, it is also very useful in baking, for making shortcrust pastry, for example.

It is a sturdy and compact machine, made of stainless steel, designed to last a lifetime in your kitchen.

The history of Imperia

Founded in 1932 in Sant'Ambrogio, Turin (Italy), Imperia began its journey as a small artisanal workshop dedicated to manufacturing pasta-making machines. It soon started exporting, with its main market being the United States, as Italian immigrants took up making pasta at home to remember the flavors and aromas of their homeland.

Today, Imperia exports to 77 countries around the world and has built a solid reputation as a leading brand in products for preparing pasta and other homemade foods. With all its products made in Italy, Imperia prides itself on being an authentic and genuinely Italian company, committed to tradition and excellence in each of its creations.
