Hazelnut oil is the secret of many chefs. It is oil extracted from pressing top-quality hazelnuts, resulting in pure hazelnut oil.

This oil has an intense hazelnut flavor and is fabulous in salads; it also pairs very well with balsamic vinegar, becoming a light dressing that brings dishes to life with its flavor. Some people also combine it with a bit of lemon juice.

In pasta, potatoes, and beans, hazelnut oil is wonderful and perfectly replaces the oil usually used for dressing. It also adds a beautiful touch to fish (salmon, sea bass, gilthead bream...), cheese, or meat (both on the griddle and in a beef carpaccio).
