History of Sabatier®
Sabatier® was founded in Thiers in Auvergne Rhône-Alpes (France). The company founded by Philippe Sabatier at the beginning of the 19th century, is a specialist in the manufacture of high quality forged knives, currently operating in the eighth generation of the family. A true tradition.
Since 2021, Sabatier® has been part of the De Buyer Group (Le Brigade De Buyer), which allows it to maintain its high quality standards and the tradition of forging and manufacturing, inherited from previous generations of master cutlers.
