With the Microplane 3-in-1 Ginger Grater you will have no problem slicing, grating and peeling pieces of ginger, turmeric or even garlic. Despite its small size, it is very practical and versatile. It provides you with three functions in one single utensil: peeler, grater and mandolin slicer . A real champion!
Its ergonomic design makes it very comfortable to use. And thanks to its non-slip handle and base , it is also very safe and will help you scrape the skin, cut or grate with little effort, so you can have fresh ginger ready for your infusions and recipes in no time.
It has a photo-etched grater with ultra-sharp blades , so that you can obtain the desired zest by simply sliding the root and without having to press. The cutting blade is also extra sharp , for fine slicing. And the rigid tab on the side will allow you to scrape the skin off of ginger, turmeric or carrots very easily.
Thanks to its length, you can use it resting on any container while grating or slicing. And when you're done, you can easily clean it by running it under running water.
NOTE: You can grate, peel or cut turmeric with it, but remember that its intense orange color may remain on the grater. This will not affect its operation at all, it is only for aesthetic purposes.
