The Evolution Tall Round Cocotte is a Le Creuset model designed for cooking larger quantities, especially for making soups, creams, pasta, and stews in generous portions. The tall cocotte differs from the traditional round cocotte by having a few extra centimetres in height, allowing you to cook larger portions, more liquid-based dishes, or even roast meats and bake bread effortlessly.
This is the Evolution model, Le Creuset’s latest design, which includes the following improvements over previous models:
- Larger handles for a more comfortable and secure grip, making it easier to transport this cast iron pot from the oven to the table, even when wearing oven gloves.
- A more stain-resistant, durable, and scratch-proof enamelled interior, which is also easier to clean than traditional enamel.
- A newly designed lid with a better seal to retain moisture and flavour inside the cocotte.
- A more ergonomic and comfortable knob.
