A ceramic body with a pestle that combines the pleasant feel of wood with the ceramic tip, this Emile Henry pestle and mortar is as fabulous as it looks here. It features a very cute traditional design, and is a very high quality mortar: it has a rough, non-porous interior finish that will not stain or retain odours. You can hold it easily in one hand thanks to its rounded corners.
The pestle is made of beech wood with a ceramic head. It has a diameter of 14cm, it’s 8cm high and has a capacity of 0.60 litres.
If you are looking for a good pestle and mortar, Emile Henry's one will work really well and you will be able to create great sauces and vinaigrettes.
