The knife has a rounded tip for maximum safety . The 7cm blade is made of strong, solid and durable stainless steel . It features a Virobloc double-position safety ring that rotates to lock the blade in the open and closed position.

The Virobloc safety ring is an invention of Marcel Opinel and is found on all pocket knives with a locking system, starting from number 6. The ferrule has two parts, one fixed and one sliding. Therefore, in addition to locking the blade when it is open (for safety in use), it also allows the blade to be locked when it is closed, for safe storage and transport.

The handle, with a very modern design , is made of polyamide and guarantees great resistance to shocks, water and extreme temperatures. It also has an integrated whistle, without a ball , which works rain or shine and with its power of 110 dB has an approximate range, in open space, of 300 m . Not only will you not lose sight of them, but you will hear them wherever they are!
