The knife has a rounded tip , to offer maximum security . The 7 cm blade is made of strong, solid and durable stainless steel . It has a double position Virobloc safety ring that rotates to lock the blade in the open and closed position.

The Virobloc safety ring is an invention by Marcel Opinel and is found in all knives with a locking system, starting with number 6. The bolster has two parts, one fixed and the other sliding. Therefore, in addition to locking the sash when it is open (for safety in use), it also allows the sash to be locked when it is closed, for safe storage and transport.

The handle, with a state-of-the-art design , is made of polyamide and guarantees great resistance to shock, water and extreme temperatures. And it has an integrated whistle, without a ball , that works rain or shine and with its power of 110 dB it has an approximate range, in open space, of 300 m . Not only will you not lose sight of them, but you will hear them wherever they are!
