With its double blade, the Microplane Classic Double Zester Grater is a premium helper in preparing your recipes. This versatile 2-in-1 stainless steel tool features two types of blades, so you’ll have two distinct and complementary graters in a single stainless steel sheet. A fine Zester grater for fine grating, and a coarse Zester grater for grating foods with a thicker texture.

The ultra-sharp blades allow you to grate effortlessly and with the thickness you prefer from citrus peels to Parmesan cheese, chocolate, nutmeg, garlic, carrots, or even hard bread. Simply slide the food without pressing, and you’ll achieve results as fine or coarse as you want, without having to switch graters. The grater features non-slip support bases on both ends for comfortable and safe use.

Microplane is a leader in high-quality cutting and grating tools. The Zester grater has become an indispensable tool in the modern kitchen, and this double blade model is a true marvel that will last you forever.

IMPORTANT! You’ll find many copies of the Zester, but without a doubt, Microplane’s is the original, and once you try it, you’ll understand it’s unmatched.

A grater is useful for much more than just grating cheese or nutmeg. And if it has two graters in the same utensil, you can grate fine or coarse as needed, getting the most out of your grater just by flipping it.

History of Microplane

Made in the United States, Microplane graters have become the reference for this type of utensil due to their sharp and durable blades that cut food like no other. It all started in 1994 when the wife of a carpenter was preparing an orange cake. Fed up with how poorly her grater worked, she tried one of her husband's favorite woodworking tools. She slid the orange against the blade and was amazed: the tiny shavings fell like snowflakes.

The discovery of the Microplane woodworking tool, capable of creating the finest orange zest imaginable, laid the foundation for the success of this brand's graters.
