With the Ken Hom double bamboo steamer you can steam cook on two levels, in the most comfortable and simple way you can imagine. This traditional bamboo steamer with a 20 cm diameter is ideal for preparing your healthiest recipes quickly, preserving all the nutrients in the food and with results full of flavor.
. Its two-tier design will allow you to cook several ingredients at the same time. Inspired by classic Asian bamboo steamers shaped like baskets, steam circulates inside on both levels, while the lid retains that steam, preventing it from escaping. Cooking is fast and much more flavorful. Vegetables, fish, pasta, bao buns, or Chinese dumplings will all be very tasty and retain their vitamins.
It is very easy and convenient to use. You just have to bring some water or broth to a boil in a pot, wok, or saucepan, place the steamer on top with the foods you want to cook, putting in the lower basket the foods that need a bit more time. Cover the steamer and let the steam work its magic. Once everything is cooked, the same basket is perfect for serving, presenting the vegetables or fish directly at the table. You can use it to cook different foods on two levels or, by removing one of the baskets, to prepare a single dish.
