The airtight containers from Rocco Bormioli's Lavagna collection are the perfect ally for keeping your food well organised and fresh. Do you have trouble remembering which jar you put the strong flour in and which one you put the baking powder in ? Are you not sure if that jar has couscous or the pasta for soup dots? Do you want to remember when you put those nuts in the jar?
These airtight jars with clip closure and label are exactly like the Fido jars from Bormioli Rocco, but with a label so you can distinguish the contents. You'll find that, thanks to the practical chalkboard label, you can write, erase and rewrite what's inside at any given time, making it easy to identify the contents at a glance - ideal for a well-organised kitchen.
These containers are not only airtight, ensuring the freshness of the food, but are also suitable for vacuum preservation by pasteurization and for cooking in a bain-marie. However, they are not suitable for the microwave or freezer.
These are transparent and very resistant glass jars , which with the right treatment will last for years and years in your kitchen and pantry. Their traditional clamp-type closure system is very easy to use, and we will agree that it gives them a very nice look (Don't they remind you of the tidy cupboards at your parents' house?).
Available in two sizes, 750ml and 1500ml , these containers offer you a versatile solution for storing dry foods, preserves and much more. Plus, their attractive ornate design makes them a stylish and practical addition to any kitchen.
The measurements of the jars are as follows:
NOTE: Looking for these unlabeled jars? You might want to check out traditional Fido jars . Or are you looking for tall ones for spaghetti? Then check out tall Fido jars.
The history of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glassware, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first household jar suitable for pasteurization—an essential in kitchens worldwide (a name as popular in Italy today as Chupa Chups are among kids).
In 1946, in the same historic city of Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glassmaking by combining Italian craftsmanship with the most advanced technology to offer exceptional design pieces. In 2017, both brands merged under Luigi Bormioli, consolidating their legacy as a global leader in glassware, exporting to over 100 countries while maintaining a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
