The Tradition Le Creuset Cast Iron Round Griddle is ideal for cooks with aspirations to master the art of griddle cooking. Very versatile despite its relatively small size, it is especially suitable for cooking meat with a professional touch.

Perfect for light cooking lightly and using little fat. Moreover, it will last a lifetime. A very good cooking investment.

NOTE: Cooking on an iron griddle has nothing to do with cooking on a non-stick griddle: iron gets much hotter (much higher temperature) and seals the food, retaining all the flavor (and evaporating the juices, thus preventing the meat from boiling...). On an iron griddle the meat is roasted!

And you know what? If you purchase a griddle that is 100% iron, like the rectangular or round ones without a handle, they are pieces suitable for the oven (they are purely iron!!), so you can make spectacular pizzas on them, a piece of meat or fish directly from the oven, use it to make a cookie or puff pastry or breeze, make cookies... Muy buen resultado

Estamos encantados con ella, tanto para cocinar carne, pescado como verdura. Lo único es que al ser redonda cabe un poco menos de comida que en los formatos cuadrados y no lo tuvimos en cuenta. Por el resto esta muy bien y se limpia ben dejandola un rato en remojo.

Fantástica para 2 personas

Recuerdo que en mi infancia ya veia Le Creuset en nuestra cocina, pero no sabia ni para que servian esos cacharros. Ahora llevo un par de décadas cocinando con sartenes, y he vuelto a Le Creuset por curiosidad. Ya entiendo porque mis padres las usaban. Es otro mundo, la comida vuelve a saber a comida. Veo comentarios de gente que dicen que se les pega, que sale humo, que no sirve para nada... les recomiendo que calienten muy poco a poco el grill, yo en vitrocerámica lo pongo a 2, y voy subiendo de 2 en 2 hasta 8 (de una escala de 10). Pincelo con aceite el grill, y lo vuelvo a bajar a 6. Uso una espátula de silicona ya que es flexible, ese ha sido para mi un gran descubrimiento (la compré en un chino pero me compraré las de Le Creuset para navidad seguro). Esre grill no es muy grande, pero ideal para 2 personas. Mañana me voy de viaje y me lo llevo en la maleta, con eso lo digo todo. Para Claudia&Julia un 10, el envio ha sido rapidísimo y el precio muy bueno. Volveré a comprar sin duda!
