The KitchenAid Double Platform Scale is quite an invention! This digital kitchen scale allows you to weigh on both platforms at the same time . And not only that, but you can also see the weight of both on the screen, one on each line of the screen . A marvel!
On the large platform the maximum weight is 5 kilos, with increments of 1 gram. In the small one, the maximum weight is 500 grams with an increment of 0.01 grams, making it ideal for weighing ingredients that require greater precision, such as yeast or salt.
Both platforms are stainless steel and stain resistant. You will be able to weigh on both at the same time and on the backlit LCD screen , you will see the reading of each one: the upper line shows the weight of the large platform and the lower line shows the weight of the small platform.
It also has a button with a tare function and an On/Off button, although if you forget to press it, it has an automatic shutdown after 3 minutes of inactivity.
