The Mineral B Iron Paella Pan by De Buyer is perfect for healthy and homemade cooking.

  1. Handcrafted in iron.
  2. Made without any chemical coatings or heavy metals.
  3. With exceptional thickness for excellent heat distribution, ensuring a perfect paella.
  4. Treated with a beeswax coating that provides a naturally non-stick surface.
  5. Besides paella, it's also ideal for grilling.
  6. Suitable for all heat sources including induction.
  7. Oven-safe (can go in the oven at 200°C for ten minutes).

Note: For cooking or letting the rice rest, you can use the De Buyer universal stainless steel lid or the ILSA stainless steel lid.

Why we love the paella pan

  1. De Buyer iron distributes heat so evenly that all food cooks perfectly and gets evenly browned—no undercooked grains of rice.
  2. It’s built to last. With proper care, it will last a lifetime.
  3. Being oven-safe, it's perfect for gratin dishes or a final touch of heat.
Good to know about Mineral B iron pans
  • De Buyer pans are made in France and are the only ones with a certified iron purity of over 99%.
  • They’re made of iron, so they can rust. How to prevent it? Avoid prolonged contact with water. Don't let them air-dry: after washing, dry with a cloth. You can also place it on low heat for a few minutes to remove moisture completely.
  • If you're storing it for a long time, you can apply a thin layer of oil and spread it with a paper towel, although it's not essential.
  • Before first use, it’s best to season it. This makes the pan more naturally non-stick. It’s super easy to do. Check the video among the product photos for how-to instructions.
  • You’ve got a pan for life! Clean it with a soft sponge or even steel wool if needed — you won’t damage it (there’s no non-stick coating to harm). It might turn black or develop spots — that’s a good thing!
  • If rust spots appear, just rub with oiled paper towel and they’ll vanish. If the rusted area is larger, go ahead and use steel wool — nothing will happen to the pan; it’s all iron, through and through.
  • If you scrubbed it hard or simply want to, you can season it again — but it’s not strictly necessary.
