Made in Italy, the Bormioli Rocco glass containers with sealing rubber are jars made entirely of glass, both the container and the lid, which features a removable silicone gasket that ensures perfect sealing and preservation of the food you store in them.

Sustainable, recyclable, durable, and very hygienic, plus they do not deform and you can even use them in the oven.

Frigoverre containers are ideal for optimal food preservation, both fresh and cooked. Additionally, they have a beautiful presentation on the table, so you can serve your recipes, desserts, ice creams, salads, or appetizers directly in them.

The lid design also allows them to be stacked, making them perfect for storing sauces, pickles, leftover portions, or cooked vegetables in the fridge. They have many more advantages:

  • They are made of tempered glass, which gives them great strength and maximum transparency.
  • Being entirely glass, they do not absorb or transfer odors or flavors.
  • The silicone gasket, which covers the lid’s rim, is designed to adhere perfectly to the glass, guaranteeing a hermetic seal for optimal content preservation.
  • The gasket is easy to place and remove for easy and thorough cleaning.
  • They are dishwasher safe. They will never deform, no matter how often you wash them in the machine. Nor will they lose their shine.
  • Both the lid and the container come with a limited 10-year warranty.
  • They are stackable. The lid design allows them to be stacked, saving space in the fridge or cabinets
  • They are oven safe, without the silicone gasket, up to a maximum temperature of 220 °C.
  • They are microwave safe, with the lid open, up to a maximum temperature of 70 °C.
  • They are freezer safe up to a maximum temperature of -20 °C.
  • They are sustainable containers. The glass is 100% recyclable.

With these containers, it’s all advantages. Durable, non-deformable, hygienic, sustainable, and very resistant, they offer you a perfect way to preserve, prepare, or serve food. And since they come in various shapes and sizes, you’re sure to find the ones that best suit your needs!

History of Luigi Bormioli

The history of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glassware, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first household jar suitable for pasteurization—an essential in kitchens worldwide (a name as popular in Italy today as Chupa Chups are among kids).

In 1946, in the same historic city of Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glassmaking by combining Italian craftsmanship with the most advanced technology to offer exceptional design pieces. In 2017, both brands merged under Luigi Bormioli, consolidating their legacy as a global leader in glassware, exporting to over 100 countries while maintaining a strong commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
