This double-container tupperware is ideal for carrying and keeping food cold for up to 12 hours or hot for up to 8 hours, wherever you want to eat it, without the need for a fridge or microwave.

The thermos for food has an additional differentiated container. In addition to carrying hot or cold food, you can also transport any accompaniment that you want to add. Thus, with the Mepal Ellipse thermal food container you have a double tupperware:

• The lower compartment is a robust and resistant double-walled stainless steel thermal container. With a capacity of 500 ml, it is ideal for putting cold yogurt for breakfast or stewed meat with vegetables for lunch. It features a lid that provides a tight, leak-proof seal. The double wall insulates the food from the outside temperature and keeps the inside for a long time (up to 12 hours for cold foods and a maximum of 8 for hot foods).
  
• The upper compartment is made of polypropylene, totally free of BPA. With a 200 ml capacity, it is ideal for carrying solid foods such as cereals, olives, seeds, nuts, a little grape, rice, cheese or some breadsticks. It has a lid to guarantee the closure and preservation of food.

Both containers have their own distinct lid (not interchangeable), and can be attached to each other or detached with a simple twist, so you can carry them together, separate, or carry just one when you need it. The thermal container is 100% airtight and the outer wall will stay cool and dry, no matter how hot or cold the contents are.

Claudia's advice: To ensure that food stays hot or cold for many hours before putting it in the container, fill it with boiling water or ice water so that the interior gets hot or cold well and close it. Prepare the content as hot or cold as possible and, when you have it ready, remove the water from the container, introduce the food and close immediately.
