Made of olive wood and 100% natural, this Bérard board is a precious piece on any table and in any kitchen.
With an ideal size for presenting appetizers, bringing bread to the table, serving cheese or cold meats.... it is a beautiful board for any occasion, and a visual treat: being natural, its pattern is always different but each board has its own charm. They are unique pieces.

- It has a hole and comes with a corde which, in addition to decorating it, will allow you to hang it up in the kitchen.
Apart from being a resistant wood, the olive tree is ideal for use in the kitchen as it has anti-bacterial properties and its wood is one of the most resistant to stains and odours. It does not require special care, although it is recommended to wash it by hand and leave it to dry in an upright position. To keep the wood looking as good as new and prevent it from drying out too much, it is advisable to apply occasional vegetable oil (if it is olive oil, all the better).
Bérard has been making wooden tools in Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, between the French Alps and the Côte d'Azur, since 1892. Its manufacturing process is respectful of forests and the environment. Each piece is handcrafted to make the most of the available wood, no two pieces are the same. In addition, all surplus material is used to heat both the drying chamber and the facility itself, so there is no waste of wood.
