Opinel Essentiels knife and peeler set

This very versatile set includes everything we need to peel and cut all types of food:

• Potato knife with 10cm blade is deal for cutting, slicing or peeling potatoes, as well as fruit and vegetables.
• Knife with 10cm micro-serrated blade to cut tomatoes, hard-boiled eggs, kiwis, sausages or meat.
• Knife with 7.5 cm curved blade ideal for peeling and cutting vegetables such as potatoes, courgettes, carrots and cucumbers. It has a specially designed tip for removing sprouts from root vegetables and an Opinel-exclusive grater for shredding soft-skinned vegetables or root vegetables.
• Peeler with a 6cm blade with a high-quality cut and a design designed to make it easier to clean the skin of vegetables. Its tip is designed to remove the sprouts from root vegetables.

All knives have stainless steel blades and wooden handles. They are delivered in a cardboard box ideal as a gift.

Opinel’s story

More than 120 years ago, Joseph Opinel created the popular knife that bears his name in the small village of Albiez-le-Vieux, in the heart of the French Alps. Today, his descendants continue to manufacture simple, robust and precise utensils in Chambery, using top-quality materials and a production process that respects natural resources.
