Berard Olive Wood Lemon Press

Beautiful and efficient, the Bérard manual lemon squeezer is made of olive wood to squeeze the juice out of lemons, oranges, limes... As its name suggests, it presses citrus fruit, making it a perfect juicer and extracting every last drop contained in the fibres of every citrus fruit.

It has a length of 14cm, with a comfortable and strong grip handle, and a specially designed tip to penetrate the lemon effectively.

It is quick and practical to use and very convenient to store. Furthermore, olive is ideal for use in the kitchen, as it has anti-bacterial properties and its wood is one of the most resistant to stains and odours. It does not require special care, although it is recommended to wash it by hand and leave it to dry in an upright position. To keep the wood looking as good as new and prevent over-drying, it is advisable to apply vegetable oil occasionally.

Bérard has been making wooden utensils in Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, between the French Alps and the Côte d'Azur, since 1892. The manufacturing process is respectful of forests and the environment. Each piece is handcrafted to make the most of the available wood, no two pieces are the same. In addition, all surplus material is used to heat both the drying chamber and the facility itself, so there is no waste of wood.
