Paris Peugeot Natural Salt or Pepper Mill

Peugeot grinder made in France with beech wood and stainless steel mechanism. It includes Peugeot's u'Select system to easily choose the thickness of the pepper or salt (from simply crushed to the finest grind).

Peugeot grinders are manufactured with stainless steel mechanisms with a lifetime guarantee. The pepper mechanism is equipped with a double row of helical teeth that capture the peppercorns, drag them down and lock them in order to grind them perfectly. The salt mechanism is designed to grind coarse dry salt. Made of stainless steel, it is protected from salt corrosion.

The wood used by Peugeot is PEFC certified (responsible management) and comes from forests in eastern France. In addition, the surplus wood is recycled and the paints used are solvent-free.

History of Peugeot

Peugeot was born in France in 1810 as a manufacturer of iron tools. In 1840 he introduced his first coffee grinder and in 1874 he produced his first pepper mill. Always linked to iron, it would not be many years before it began to manufacture bicycles and also cars. Today, PSP Peugeot is the company that manufactures the pepper mills that have become a benchmark for chefs and gourmets all over the world. Its logo retains the lion that has symbolised the quality of Peugeot products since 1850: the strength of the teeth, their precision and speed.

PSP Peugeot is located in Quingey, in the east of France (near the Swiss border). It employs 130 people who design and manufacture the grinders in-house by hand: the wood is turned, varnished or painted; the mechanisms are painstakingly assembled by hand.
