From the stove to the oven, with the De Buyer Non-Stick Tatin Choc Extreme Tart Pan, there will be no step of this delicious tart that you cannot make in the same pan... Or any recipe you can think of! Its ferritic stainless steel base allows you to cook the caramel directly in the pan. Its cast aluminium body provides fast and uniform heating, which guarantees homogeneous cooking . And its ceramic-reinforced non-stick coating , as well as being very durable, will allow you to unmold it easily and comfortably, without anything sticking. So, although it was originally created to make Tarte Tatin (a preparation that requires a pan suitable for the stove and the oven), it is a versatile pan, which you can use as a frying pan to sauté some vegetables or as an oven pan for your pizzas, cakes, cookies or biscuits whenever you want. What do you say about using it to make a quiche or a fritatta ? It's ideal! One pan for the entire preparation.

The Choc Extreme non-stick mould is a great option for preparing an exquisite tarte Tatin, or any sponge cake, brioche, bread, or sweet or savoury cake you can think of , thanks to all its advantages:

  • It features De Buyer's top-of-the-range non-stick coating , a state-of-the-art ceramic-reinforced, PFOA-free coating . Ideal for intensive use, highly resistant to abrasion and high temperatures, ensuring long-lasting performance.
  • The mould is made of very thick cast aluminium . This thickness, both of the body and the base, facilitates the even distribution of heat and is highly resistant to deformation .
  • Its ferritic stainless steel base makes it suitable for use on all types of cookers , even induction hobs. This makes it easy to prepare tarts such as Tatin, the first step of which is to make the caramel, which you can make directly in the mould in which the tart is baked.
  • It is also a wonderful mould for baking all kinds of cakes , sweet and savoury tarts, such as quiches, onion or tomato Tatin, empanadas or focaccias.
  • Its coating makes it very easy to clean (always by hand and with soft sponges), resistant and durable.

NOTE: Although the mold has a very resistant non-stick coating, to always keep it in perfect condition and prolong its durability, it is advisable to never heat it empty, not subject it to sudden changes in temperature, not use metal utensils to stir or unmold and clean it by hand with a non-abrasive sponge.
