OXO special colander for washing rice and cereals

The OXO Special Colander for Washing Rice and Cereals is a bowl with a double strainer , designed to wash and drain all types of cereals, rice, pasta or seeds, even the smallest ones, without losing a single grain. It has two perforated areas, at the base and on the wall. The base has tiny holes to slowly drain the water while the seeds are soaked and cleaned or the rice eliminates the starch, without the smaller grains falling through . The side holes are larger to remove excess water .

It is an ideal strainer for rice, quinoa, oats, wheat or even smaller grains and seeds, as by retaining the water, it allows you to see if it is clear enough or the grain needs more rinsing time.
