The perfect replacement for the knob on older cocottes or the damaged black knobs! If you have a Le Creuset cocotte with the black knob (the phenolic knob that some older versions have) you may want to consider replacing it with a new one - it will look like a brand new cocotte!
The Le Creuset phenolic knob is the black knob that the brand's cocottes have traditionally had. They are suitable for use up to 190 ºC .
Given its nature, if there has been any neglect in the oven or it is a very old cocotte, it may have deteriorated, and changing it is as easy as turning a screw!
You can purchase your phenolic knob and change it very easily at home (you can see how in the video that you will see between the photos).
Replacing the knob is not difficult: with a flat-head screwdriver you can unscrew the black knob from the inside of the cover.
