Handcrafted in high-quality, ultra-light glass, the Set of 2 Sapientia Luigi Bormioli hand-blown crystal glasses has been designed to enjoy wine calmly, precisely, and with full appreciation of every nuance. These highly elegant glasses offer a perfect balance between form and feel. The bowl shape of each glass enhances aeration, helping the sensory notes of each variety emerge and flow gently toward the nose and palate, without losing definition along the way. Ideal glasses for savoring every wine without missing even the smallest nuance.
The glasses are handcrafted, made entirely from mouth-blown glass, with ultra-thin walls and rim that make them feel wonderfully light in the hand. That fineness is not just aesthetic; it also contributes to a cleaner, more precise experience from the very first sip.
The Sapientia glasses stand out for their elegant contemporary design and handcrafted production, which you can tell just by looking at them. The sets of two glasses come in an elegant gift box, with protective tissue paper and a distinctive seal, so they also make a great gift when you want to give something tasteful.
The story of the Bormioli family is one of a passion for glass that has endured for generations. It all began in 1825 (over 100 years ago!), when Bormioli Rocco established its first glassworks in Fidenza, Parma, a region known for its rich history and artisanal tradition. Over time, the brand became a benchmark in the manufacture of high-quality table glass, giving life in 1976 to its most iconic product: the "Quattro Stagioni" jar, the first domestic jar suitable for pasteurization, a kitchen essential worldwide (a name that today is as popular in Italy as lollipops are among kids).
Meanwhile, in 1946, in the same historic Parma, Luigi Bormioli was born, a brand that further elevated the art of glass by combining Italian artisanal tradition with the most advanced technology to offer pieces of exceptional design. In 2017, both brands united their legacy under Luigi Bormioli, establishing themselves as a global reference in glassware, exporting to more than 100 countries and keeping alive their commitment to innovation, quality, and elegance.
