The Bérard Olive Wood Perforated Spatula is a most useful utensil in the kitchen. Both for its length of 32 cm and for the breadth of its blade, it is ideal for stirring and turning food. Thanks to its holes, you can serve the food while you drain the excess liquid. A great help to use with your non-stick pans and casseroles.

Bérard's wooden spatulas are made by hand, in an artisanal way , so each spatula is a unique piece of craftsmanship . This can cause that its length is not exact, having small variations.

Olive wood is ideal for use in the kitchen, as it has antibacterial properties and is one of the most resistant to stains and odors . It does not require special care, although it is recommended to wash it by hand and let it dry in an upright position. To keep the wood like the first day and prevent it from drying out excessively, it is advisable to occasionally apply vegetable oil.

Berard's story

Bérard has been manufacturing wooden utensils since 1892 in Saint-Laurent-en-Royans, between the French Alps and the Côte d'Azur. Its manufacturing process is respectful of forests and the environment.

Each piece is handcrafted, making the most of the available wood, so no two pieces are the same. In addition, all the remaining material is used to heat both the drying chamber and the facilities themselves, without wasting wood.
