Our Cast Iron Round Casserole by Le Creuset is a piece of equipment sought after by cooks all over the world. Cooking in a casserole dish will give you absolutely delicious results. More French than Asterix, Le Creuset pots and casseroles will guarantee you years of enjoyment in the kitchen and at dinnertime.

Our Cast Iron Round Casserole is the latest model from Le Creuset and includes the following upgrades from previous models:

  • Larger handles to hold and carry the iron pot from the oven to the table more comfortably and safely, even when wearing oven gloves.
  • Stronger interior glazing which is more resistant to stains, wear and scratches. It is also easier to clean than traditional glazing.
  • New lid design with an improved fit to retain moisture and flavour inside the casserole.
  • More ergonomic and comfortable knob to hold.

Note: The Ocean variant is, like the other cocottes, the new Evolution Le Creuset cocotte, but it comes with the phenolic knob factory-installed. This knob allows you to use the cocotte up to 200°C. You can easily replace it with the stainless steel knob or the copper knob if you ever find it necessary.

Everything! The round cast-iron cocottes are versatile! Le Creuset cocottes are suitable for both stovetop (including induction) and oven use (or even barbecue and fireplace if you desire). In them, you can prepare:

La cocotte perfecta

Fue un regalo muy esperado, y la mejor forma de estrenarlo fue preparando una Boeuf Bourguignon!! Para ser la primera vez nos encantó el resultado y la carne quedó exquisita, y el caldo para mojar pan!! Absolutamente recomendable! Bon appetit!!
