Originating from organic production and qualified as Bio, La Tourongelle virgin coconut oil is a very pure and natural oil, extracted from the cold pressing of organic coconuts.
In culinary use, coconut oil is ideal for browning, baking, and as a substitute for butter. It has a dense texture that melts with heat, making it an ideal and healthy alternative to oil or butter when browning meats or fish, and certainly in baking.
So, you can use it for grilled meats and fish, for meatballs with an aroma like you've never enjoyed them before, for fried foods, curries, to make coconut flan, sponge cakes, muffins, puddings... Enjoy its intense aroma.

The history of La Tourangelle
La Tourangelle is the brand name of the oils that have been produced in a mill in Saumur, in the Loire Valley, using traditional methods for 150 years.
