Garlic mushrooms are an ideal way to enjoy mushrooms. In this case, we make garlic mushrooms , since it is a recipe that you can make all year round. It is an easy and effective recipe.

Garlic mushrooms are an ideal appetizer and a fabulous accompaniment for meat and fish. You'll even want to mix the mushrooms into pasta and rice dishes, because they're a staple with an intense flavor that's very popular.

Whether it's just with mushrooms or using a variety of mushrooms (from shitake to chanterelles, chanterelles... or your favorite mushrooms), I invite you to try the recipe that we bring you if you haven't made it yet.

This recipe is a great way to take advantage of the Fissler Sensored pan , since we have to sauté the food and the thermosensitive nonstick of the pan will visually indicate when it is the right time to add it. In the video Eva explains it to us very well, both the use of the pan and the step by step of these garlic mushrooms.

How to make mushrooms al ajillo (or garlic mushrooms)

  • 500gr mushrooms or mixed mushrooms
  • 8 garlic cloves
  • 1 splash of olive oil
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch of black pepper

garlic mushrooms

  1. Peel and slice 4 or 5 garlic wedges.
  2. We put the frying pan on the fire (the Fissler Sensored non-stick frying pan ). Turn on the heat, at a medium temperature, and when the pan is hot and ready to cook* add a good splash of olive oil (we cover practically the entire bottom) and also add the sliced garlic. We want them to brown.
  3. While the garlic is cooking, we clean the mushrooms with a knife, removing the tip and removing the skin from the top. We cut them into quarters or smaller if we prefer, but it is important that all the pieces are homogeneous, so that they are made even later.
  4. When the garlic is golden, we remove it from the pan and reserve in a bowl. The important thing is to keep the oil flavored with garlic in the pan.
  5. Add the mushrooms to the pan (we will know that the pan is at its temperature because the Sensored pan loses its interior with brown spots when it heats up).
  6. We remove the pan during cooking so that they are done correctly. When the mushrooms are practically done, we return the garlic to the pan and season with salt and pepper.
  7. We left a moment more and removed from the fire. Ready to serve!

  • *We say that the pan must be ready to cook because the Sensored pan tells us when it is hot at the temperature for a good stir-fry or for frying -the dots inside it disappear when it is time to add the food.
  • Normally, when making a garlic we do not remove the garlic from the pan and after aromatizing the oil, we automatically add the prawns, fish or meat that we are going to make to the garlic. But since the mushrooms are somewhat delicate and to make the recipe easier, it is better to remove the garlic. This way you will also ensure that it does not burn.
  • Sensored frying pans have won awards in Germany for their design and innovative concept. They are practical pans for those who seek the comfort of non-stick also for frying, being extremely resistant and teaching you the optimum point for cooking.
  • The Sensored frying pan also exists in a wok format (the Sensored non-stick wok ), which is ideal since in a wok you will always be interested in knowing when it is ready to sauté, and that is determined by the temperature (and the Sensored non-stick shows it to us). .
