We couldn't bring out a pan as wonderful as the Nordic Ware Pancake Pan without a terrific recipe to kick it off. Today you are going to discover a very fast and delicious way to enjoy pancakes: We bring you the recipe to make super fluffy pancakes that will serve you on many occasions!

Today's pancakes or pancakes take on a great sponginess especially from the use of buttermilk (perhaps you know it from buttermilk). As you well know, whey gives sponge cakes and other doughs sponginess and improves the taste . Let's use it in the pancake batter too!

The recipe is not complex at all. What I think is worth noting is how quickly the pancakes are prepared in the Falling Snowflakes pancake pan: it has 9 cavities so, unlike in the single cavity pans or others, you move quickly in the preparation of the pancakes. In a few minutes, the little ones in the house or the adults with the sweet tooth will be enjoying these fluffy pancakes!

Fluffy and quick pancakes

Ingredients

  • 1 cup (125 g) all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 tsp of salt
  • 1/2 cc baking soda
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cc of sugar
  • 1 cup (250 ml) buttermilk or buttermilk
  • 3/4 cc of baking powder
  • 1 tbsp melted butter

Preparation

  1. Heat the Nordic Ware Pancake Pan over medium heat and brush the cavities with butter or oil.
  2. In a bowl, sift the flour together with the baking soda, sugar, yeast, and salt.
  3. In another bowl or using the KitchenAid, beat the egg until light and fluffy, using a whisk.
  4. Next, add the buttermilk and melted butter to the egg. Add it to the initial dry mix.
  5. Mix all the ingredients until you get a homogeneous, consistent dough without lumps.
  6. Once you have the dough ready, pour approximately 2 tablespoons into each cavity of the pan. Let them cook on the first side, and as soon as the pancakes start to bubble, flip them over and continue cooking until lightly browned on both sides.
  7. For a second batch of pancakes, brush the pan again with melted butter (you don't really need to, it's a non-stick pan, but the butter soaks into the batter and helps them get a nice brown faster.

Un cc es un centrímetro cúbico y equivale a 1 ml. Hay cucharitas medidoras en las que aparece esa medida. Aparece como 1 ml o 1 pinch (pizca o pellizco).
