carob smoothie

Utensil: Glass blender capable of crushing ice.

Ingredients

  • 500 ml of almond milk
  • 4 tbsp carob flour
  • 2 tbsp cocoa
  • 1 cc of vanilla essence
  • 1/2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of honey or cane sugar
  • 400 ml of water
  • 5 ice cubes
  • Optional: cream ice cream for the moment of serving

Preparation

  1. Place all ingredients except water and ice in a blender and blend for 90 seconds.
  2. Add the 400 ml of water and the ice cubes and continue beating for another 40 seconds. Take advantage of the impulse of the Pulse option if you have it to shake the ice with force.
  3. Remove the glass from the blender and transfer it to a container, while filtering it with a cotton cloth to collect the remains of flour.
  4. Drink it immediately or keep it for up to 8 hours in the refrigerator.

Optionally you can serve it with a ball of cream or enzyme whipped cream. It is an ideal presentation, but the most important thing is that the bitter combination of carob and cocoa with the sweetness of cream tastes great.

Sometimes, we are asked what to look for in order to choose well. I think it is important to highlight that all the glass blenders that we have in the store are capable of crushing ice, and have a Pulse function, which works so well when you mix ice or nuts, and allows you to achieve a finer texture in a very short time. weather. From here, I would advise you to look at the size of the glass you are interested in, whether it has extras or not (some come with glasses to take your juice with you) and the design.
